Public copies of Plainview’s police reports can be obtained at the Plainview Police Department between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The cost of an accident report or offense police report is $5 each, payable in the records office of the Plainview Police Department.
Reports by Mail
Police reports can also be obtained by mail. Simply send a written request and identify the specific report requested by service number, name of complainant, driver name, the date of report, location or other information to aid in the search for the correct document.
Along with the written request, send a check or money order in the amount of $5 payable to the City of Plainview. Please include a return address or fax number.
