The department responds to more than 3,500 fire and EMS calls a year. EMS units respond to about 2,000 calls per year, and fire units respond to about 1,500 calls per year.

Personnel

The department employs 36 full-time personnel who operate on three shifts - A, B, and C - and work 48 hours on the job, followed by 96 hours off. Positions include:
