Influenza Vaccine Clinics
The Plainview-Hale County Health Department begins vaccinating for influenza October 1. Shots cost $20 for the general public.

Environmental Health Inspections
The environmental health inspector checks the following locations for adherence to environmental health standards:
- Foster homes
- Public schools
- Restaurants
