[ARCHIVED] Flu Shots Available at Health Department

Flu Vaccines Available

The Plainview – Hale County Health Department will begin offering the influenza vaccine on Monday, October 7th

Immunizations will also be available for children 18 years of age and under via the Texas Vaccines for Children Program (TVFC).

Eligible recipients include those who are uninsured, underinsured or enrolled in Medicaid. Medicaid recipients must have their Medicaid card with them to receive immunizations, and all participants are required to bring your child’s immunization record. Also, those who are American Native or Alaskan Native are eligible regardless of age.

The flu shots are $10 for eligible TVFC recipients and $20 for Hale County residents.

The Health Department is located in the basement at City Hall, 202 W. 5th Street. For more information, call 806-296-1100.
