Plainview ISD is partnering with the City of Plainview to host the In Plain View Community Event in conjunction with National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1st from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at M.B. Hood (16th Street) Park.
The event is FREE to the public and will serve as an opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors in a relaxing atmosphere.
Food will be available including free hot dogs, chips and water. Activities include face painting, various lawn and athletic games, bouncy houses, information booths and on-site tours of City vehicles. PISD students from various departments, Plainview ISD employees and City staff will be participating in the festivities.
The event is also in conjunction with National Night Out. Celebrated the first Tuesday in October, it provides an opportunity for police and neighbors to come together in a fun and relaxing environment, enhancing community relationships and creating a safer city.
