Electronic Incident Reporting Form

Welcome to the Plainview Police Department Incident Reporting System.  If this is an Emergency or the crime is in progress, please call 911.  Using this system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of it for free if you choose.  Please answer the following questions to find out if Electronic Incident repoting is right for you:

  1. Is this an Emergency?
  2. Is this crime currently in progress?
  3. Did this incident occur outside the Plainview City limits?

If you answered, "No" to all of the above questions, you are ready to file your report electronically. If you answered, "Yes" to question # 1 or # 2, call 911 to report the matter. If you answered, “Yes” to question # 3 please call the law enforcement agency for that city or county where the incident took place to report the matter.

Question: What do I do if Electronic Incident reporting is not right for me?
Answer: If your incident is an emergency, call 911. If non-emergency call (806) 296-1182.

Question: What if this happened in another city could I file a report using this system?
Answer: No, if a crime took place outside of the City of Plainview please call the law enforcement agency for that city or county where the incident took place.

Question: What do I do if I have additional information or property to add to my report in the future?
Answer: Contact the Plainview PD Investigations Division at (806) 296-1191.

 Upon completion of this process you will be contacted at a later time and given a report number. .
